Ammonium Paratungstate
About:
Ammonium paratungstate is a white, crystalline powder with a very high degree of chemical purity. It is used as a universal intermediate product for a variety of applications such as manufacturing tungsten oxides and tungsten metal powder, tungstic acid, ammonium paratungstate and organometallic components as well as in catalysis and fine chemistry.
Grade: APT-0
Appearance: Pure White Crystallized Powder
Main Composition: WO3 ≥ 88.5%
Ammonium Metatungstate
About:
Ammonium metatungstate, also known as AMT, is a tungsten chemical in the form of highly soluble hydrated crystals. It is mainly used as a raw material in the production of tungsten catalysts for a variety of reactions including oxidation, hydroxylation, hydrogenation, and polymerization. Additionally, AMT is used as a catalyst in the petrochemical industry.
Grade: AMT-1
Appearance: White Crystallized Powder
Main Composition: WO3 ≥ 89%
Yellow Tungsten Trioxide
About:
Tungsten trioxide is almost exclusively manufactured by the calcification of APT under oxidizing conditions (in air). WO3 is one of the most important, highly pure intermediates for the production of other tungsten compounds including tungsten metal powder. Because of its bright yellow color it is used as a pigment in oil and water colors. It is employed in a wide variety of catalysts, most recently for the control of air pollution and industrial hygiene (DeNOx).
Grade: WO3-0
Appearance: White Crystallized Powder
Blue Tungsten Oxide
About:
Blue Tungsten Oxide is a highly insoluble thermally stable Tungsten source suitable for glass, optic and ceramic applications. It is used primarily for the production of tungsten metal powder and tungsten carbide. It is produced by rotary calcining ammonium paratungstate at closely controlled temperatures in a reducing atmosphere.
Grade: WO3-x-0
Appearance: Dark Blue Crystallized Powder
Tungsten Powder (W Powder)
About:
Tungsten powder is widely used in the production of weight fillers, radiation shielding fillers and induction accelerators, etc.. The thin film surface of its polymer mixture is ideally suitable for radiation protection. The large particle size makes it an ideal heavy metal filler for injection-molding applications. The unique shape and the resulted high flow ability of the particles make it suitable for applications in the metal spray industry.
Grade: FW-1
Appearance: Light Grey to Dark Grey Powder
Main Composition: W ≥ 99.95%
Tungsten Carbide Powder (WC)
About:
Tungsten carbide powder comes in a range of sizes and is used in a wide variety of hard material products. Micro-grain tungsten carbide powder is used for circuit board drills, nozzles and end mills. Fine WC powder is used in cutting tools and inserts. Medium and ultra-coarse powder is required for mining tools, energy drilling tools, wear and die parts, and road construction bits.
Grade: FWC
Appearance: Light Grey Powder
Thermal Spray Powder
HOVF: 10C0-4Cr-86WC, 10Ni-90WC, 20Ni-7Cr-73WC
About:
Thermal spray powders containing carbides are used to create wear-resistant coatings. The carbidic hard phase embedded in a ductile metal matrix gives layers of tremendous amount of hardness and excellent wear resistance. Thermal spray powders are well-suited for any product subjected to abrasion, erosion and wear.
HVOF:
High-Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) coating is a thermal spray coating process used to improve or restore a component’s surface properties or dimensions, thus extending equipment life by significantly increasing erosion and wear resistance, and corrosion protection. The utilization of the HVOF coating technique allows the application of coating materials such as metals, alloys, and ceramics to produce a coating of exceptional hardness, outstanding adhesion to the substrate material and providing substantial wear resistance and corrosion protection.
Appearance: Very Fine Dark Grey/Black Powder
