Thermal Spray Powder
HOVF: 10C0-4Cr-86WC, 10Ni-90WC, 20Ni-7Cr-73WC
About:
Thermal spray powders containing carbides are used to create wear-resistant coatings. The carbidic hard phase embedded in a ductile metal matrix gives layers of tremendous amount of hardness and excellent wear resistance. Thermal spray powders are well-suited for any product subjected to abrasion, erosion and wear.
HVOF:
High-Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) coating is a thermal spray coating process used to improve or restore a component’s surface properties or dimensions, thus extending equipment life by significantly increasing erosion and wear resistance, and corrosion protection. The utilization of the HVOF coating technique allows the application of coating materials such as metals, alloys, and ceramics to produce a coating of exceptional hardness, outstanding adhesion to the substrate material and providing substantial wear resistance and corrosion protection.
Appearance: Very Fine Dark Grey/Black Powder

Spherical Cast Tungsten Carbide
Macrocrystalline Tungsten Carbide
Cast Tungsten Carbide Powder
About:
Cast Tungsten Carbide is produced by melting Tungsten metal (W) and Tungsten Carbide (WC) together. It is then cast and rapidly quenched to form extremely hard solid particles of fine crystal structure. It is know for its high hardness and high wear resistance. Cast Tungsten Carbide Powder is widely used in spray welding, immersion, and spray coatings.
Applications:
• Cutting Tools
Advanced Ceramic Parts
• Spray Welding
• Immersion Coatings
• Spray Coatings
Grade: F
Appearance: Dark Grey/Black Crystallized Powder
Spherical Cast Tungsten Carbide Powder
About:
Spherical Cast Tungsten Carbide Powder is manufactured by melting Tungsten metal and Carbon together. The melted material is cast through and quenched into extremely hard solid particles of fine crystal structure. It is particularly applied to thermal surfacing techniques, such as powder welding, flame spraying, plasma spraying, HVOF (high velocity oxy-fuel). Overall it significantly prolongs the wear life of parts.
Grade: F
Appearance: Dark Gray Powder
Macrocrystalline Tungsten Carbide Powder (Macro WC)
About:
Macrocrystalline tungsten carbide is a fully carbonized and dense light grey tungsten carbide powder with homogeneous micro-structure and excellent thermal stability. It is mainly used as hardness in PDC matrix powder, PTA surfaceing and flame spray material, cementred carbide rod (wire), as well as raw material in cemented carbide production, which is widely used in surface reinforcement and wear repairing in mining, oil, metallurgy, construction, and the agricultural machinery steel industry.
